Core Work in “Neutral” Spine

These videos offer practices to build core awareness and capacity when the maintaining the spine in a static “neutral” position.

*A note about these videos: 
I have some regrets about sing the word “stability” so much in these videos because I think there is a common assumption that stable is good and right and anything not stable is bad and dangerous. Of course, the next section of this course is all about the core functioning during movement of the spine, and spines do and should move a lot! We definitely want to train our tissues to adapt to tolerate and support mobility, because otherwise we’d just be tin-people.

When I say “stability” in this video, I am simply differentiating this group of exercises from the “mobility” ones we are doing next.
